  8. Maintenance
Click here to download a copy of the maintenance report.
Simon Jones reported on all the work that has been done to improve The Landings and outlined future work. A long discussion took place about the edging and gravel on the paths. John Reid complained that the job was not well done or good value for the amount spent, in his opinion it is a disgrace. Simon responded that he is proud of what was achieved but was taking on board the comments made. Hilary Reid commented that it does not feel as if the gravel will compact, and it is hard for prams and wheelchair users. She requested that it be on record that the raised path edging is a dangerous trip hazard. Simon agreed to walk around with John & Hilary to fully discuss the issue.

Ian Wasey also complained that the wrong gravel has been used and that it was like walking on a beach. He suggested some alternatives that could be mixed in to improve the paths. Simon agreed to investigate the options available. The full maintenance report of work carried out during 2023 is on our website.
  9. AOB
David Mountford raised concerns about the tenants at 37 BBW running a business from their rented home. The owners were present and advised him that the tenants would be moving out to a new home they are purchasing as soon as possible but were awaiting probate.

: There being no further business the meeting was closed at 20:45.
